Marina Court Care Home understood the huge benefits of exercise in later years for both health and mental well-being. The care home approached Fresh Air Fitness for a solution that would allow residents to gain exercise, remain mentally active and encouraging social interaction within their community.
The equipment needed to be installed along a narrow strip of land, running the length of the car park. The gym needed to include low impact equipment that would build strength, flexibility, stamina and cardio fitness.
We supplied and installed a five piece outdoor gym that would offer low impact full body workout. This comprised of a Hip Twister, Seated Leg Press, Double Air Walker, T'ai Chi Spinners and a Seated Chest Press and Pull Down Challenger Combo. Nestled in the small strip of grass that surrounds the car park, the gym is fully accessible and has made use of an otherwise unused piece of land.
Having looked at several websites, I really liked the Fresh Air Fitness website, I found what I was looking for quickly and easily. I also really liked the colours of the equipment. I saw that you had recently installed an outdoor gym in Ross-On-Wye and so knew you would be well placed to complete an installation here at Marina Court. Following approval of the proposal, the equipment was ordered and the work on site was able to commence. Working closely with the staff on site, the outdoor gym was installed within 2 days.
